Trust God

This pandemic has disoriented and overtaken all our lives. It appears I’m living in a movie.

Our entire state of normalcy has been disrupted: families, schools, businesses, sports, our economy, churches, healthcare facilities and so much more has been impacted! The swiftness of this virus has claimed many lives.

Our days are as repetitive as can be. Daily walks, Zoom conference calls and Facebook lives, cooking and eating nonstop, FaceTime dates with our loved ones and grocery store visits only when necessary. Anxiety lingers close as we try to grasp our new reality. All are wondering how much longer this will last! I’ve heard reports that businesses will begin to open on May 1st, begging the question, is this too soon?

Such fears and concerns are understandable, given the potential effects a virus can have on children and the greater risk of it spreading within confined spaces.

Even in these trying times, it’s just like God to show us His glory and His character. We have experienced God’s faithfulness to meet many of our needs. His grace has been poured out through the Church, family, and friends. He provides strength, enabling us to triumphantly endure, and His goodness continues to bring us through one day at a time. God is always in control and will continue to work this out for our good.

God is with us, leading the way through. I’m sure many of us have had our weak moments but please continue to go to the Source. Turn to the Word of God for comfort. Don’t invite stress by watching news reports every day, give your mind a break.

Take heart my friend, we will get through this. Don’t lose faith.

  1. Yes please do not lose faith. This was my morning scripture for today. Remember;
Psalms 24:1-2 The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.
For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.

    1. I was just telling someone about this the other day. God has been removed from our schools, our discussions and our thoughts.

When we DO pray, we simply ask HIM to save us. We forget that He gives us the ability to save ourselves. This is why many of us should pray for wisdom, strength, application and perseverance, not just miracles.

  2. Hi Patrice thank you! I will continue to trust God and stand on His word for comfort and support!

  3. Yes! We have to stay focused

    Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose ❤️

  4. This is such and encouraging and timely word; thank you for blessing the body with your keen insight and Godly wisdom!

    1. Hi Patrice
This is what our faith is for. God has given us just what we need to be victorious in all things. I’m praying we take courage as well. Love you:)

  5. Thanks for acknowledging the truth of how it feels living with the side effects of CORONA and with a way to live with more peace of mind. This is an encouragement!

    1. Continue to wait on the Lord! He is your Supplier and you will never need and He won’t supply. All things work together for the Good of them that Love the Lord!! Remain Faithful to His Will and Way for your Life!! He Will Not Fail You and He Hears your Cry and Plead!! Keep looking to the Hills He has not Forgotten you!

  6. YES fully agree !! He is def in Control amidst this and has a bigger plan that will unfold in the days ahead… there are already things happening in His word in revelations that are taking place right now.. biggest thing He says to me is turn to only me.. not the stuff around me… comfort is found in my sitting before Him and listening to Him and reading his word. Anxiety is contagious but His love is far above that.. . He will guide those who turn to him and listen and follow Him. That’s been what he is telling me.. 😘 Patrice!

  7. This is a time to worship and praise God. We can reflect on how God has carried us through. Who knew that our 2020 vision would include the Covid-19. Were we ready for the unseen enemy? God was ready. He is still in control. We need the USA to return to it’s first love. As I said this morning. It is time to loose my fleshly weight and make my spiritual man over weight. Don’t focus on the problem focus on Jesus. Replace fear with Faith.

  8. Great words of encouragement. I was invited to participate by my beautiful best friend, Jackie Davis. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the online messages and bible study. Even though it seems I’m always mindful and caring of everyone before myself…… My Faith and Trust in God keeps me grounded. Thank you kindly for sharing. May God continue to bless you and DMC Ministries.
